Safety extrication seminar (19.3.2010, Zlín, Czech Republic)
One day training for doctors and their deputies from all the FIA European rallies will be organized in 19th March 2010 in the Czech Republic. Participants will be trained in a theoretical and also practical way.
Basic details
· Doctors and their deputies from all FIA European rallies will be invited.
· The event will be registered by the medical chamber, therefore all the participating doctors from the European Union can reach the credits.
· One day training will be organized in Vsemina (region of Zlin, Czech Republic).
· Accomodation and food is payed
Brief programme of Extrication training 19.3.2010
· Arrival of the doctors one day before the training
· Welcome dinner (20:00)
· One night sleep
· Breakfast (7:00 - 8:30)
· Theoretical part (9:00-11:30)
· Lunch (11:15-11:45)
· Practical part (13:30-16:00)
· End of the training (17:00)
· Dinner at the hotel (19:00)
· Second night sleep
· Leaving home
The participants will be given following:
· Printed guide book for extrication
· Powerpoint presentation with training videos
· Extrication video DVD

Extrication trainer
The event organizers prepared an extrication trainer which provides simulating variable types of accidents and offers several ways of extrication. This trainer is fully equipped with typical rally car features like special racing seats, belts, roll-cage, battery disconnector, etc. Also the figurants will be equipped with helmets, HANS and racing overalls. For the purposes of extricating people from the car, the KED, cervical collar, scoop and other medical instruments will be available as well.
