Kuchar for the beginning
Tomasz Kuchar co-driven by Daniel Dymurski (Subaru Impreza N14) won „Mikolajki” super special – the test which started ORLEN Platinum 65. Rally Poland.
For the first time the biggest motorsport event in Poland started with a spectacular super special stage, which was held on a newly built track located near the rally’s headquarters. The organizers of ORLEN Platinum 65. Rally Poland decided that the competitors would tackle the simultaneous test in a diverse order.
It has turned out that Tomasz Kuchar co-driven by Daniel Dymurski (Subaru Impreza N14) are real specialists of short and technical tests. They scored the fastest time: 1:51.0 Michal Solowow and Maciej Baran (Peugeot 207 S2000) were second and guests from Sweden: Patrik Flodin and Goran Bergsten (Subaru Impreza N14) third.
Super special stage „Mikolajki” was only a prelude to real fight which starts tomorrow morning. On Saturday, June 7 the competitors will tackle six special stages and “Mikolajki” test for a dessert.

Patrik Flodin (Subaru Impreza N14): „It was very good. There were many spectators around the track. Unfortunately I made some mistakes. Tomorrow I’ll do my utmost to win the rally.
Michal Kosciuszko (Peugeot 207 S2000): „At the first corner I hit the barrier. Luckily nothing happened, but I lost some time.”
Bryan Bouffier (Peugeot 207 S2000): „I did my best to attract the spectators. The plan for tomorrow – maximum attack”
