Kosciuszko victorious at shakedown

Mikolajki, 06.06.2008 – Michal Kosciuszko was the fastest driver during shakedown of ORLEN Platinum 65. Rally Poland. The test was held at the well known route from Nowe Sady do Prawdowo.

The shakedown counting 3,3 kms was covered from 9.00 to 13.00. One has to underline that most of the competitors took advantage of using the test and covered it many times. There were many spectators at shakedown an the weather was lovely.

During the shakedown which lasted four hours there were 54 crossings noted. One hour before the finish only Bryan Bouffier and Michal Solowow (both in Peugeot 207 S2000) went through the stage in a time below two minutes. Afterwards, however, Michal Kosciuszko (Peugeot 207 S2000) scored best time – 1:57,0.

At the same time all the competitors recced the track where they will tackle the initial stage of ORLEN Platinum 65. Rally Poland – the Super Special stage. Many drivers and co-drivers underlined perfect preparation of the venue. They claimed it could be one of the best and most spectacular tracks when the event will be a round of World Rally Championship.

According to time schedule, start list of Day 1 will be published on Friday at 17.00. Documents were collected by 56 out of 57 crews who entered the rally.
