Michal Solowow has not entirely given up with Fiat

Due to great interest of rally fans and journalists we have asked the Cersanit Rally Team driver to comment on his decision to change a rally car.

"Our rallying schedule is very tight this year. In order to perform it smoothly and with no obstacles we have decided to purchase a new car. A little bit by chance and out of curiosity we have bought Peugeot 207 S2000. Unfortunately it resulted in terminating the mutual cooperation with Fiat Auto Poland. I regret it very much. I have a lot of positive feeling and experience with Grande Punto and we made great development along with Fiat. Last weekend at Istanbul Rally the car performed perfect. If not a stone that broke the oil sump we could have reached a good position. I’m still going to drive Punto. It seems very efficient on gravel. Again I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Fiat Auto Poland. I hope we could continue our cooperation at the all events the Cersanit Rally Team will enter in Punto Abarth S2000 ," Michal Solowow said.
